Step 5:

Explain how the students will be Evaluated


Projects are judged by three criteria: Historical Quality, Relation to theme, and Clarity of Presentation.

A. 60% of evaluation is based on Historical Quality

  1. Is the entry historically accurate?
  2. Does the entry show analysis and interpretation?
  3. Is the entry placed in historical context?
  4. Does the entry show wide research?
  5. Does the student(s) use available resources?
  6. Is the research balanced?

B. 20% of evaluation is based on Relation to Theme

  1. Does the entry clearly relate topic to theme?
  2. Does the entry demonstrate the significance of the topic in history and draw conclusions?

C. 20% of the evaluation is based on Clarity of Presentation
